Farewell Ceremony of the Nepali Youth GanPo Cultural Experience Summer Camp Held by Tribhuvan University Confucius Institute

On May 15, the Confucius Institute at Tribhuvan University held a Farewell Ceremony of the Nepali Youth GanPo Cultural Experience Summer Camp, sending off students who are about to participate in the "Chinese Bridge" summer camp at East China University of Technology. Attendees included the Chinese and Local directors of the Confucius Institute, faculty representatives, and all summer camp participants. 

Zhang Xingnian, the Chinese director of the Confucius Institute at Tribhuvan University, congratulated the students on their opportunity to visit China and introduced Jiangxi Province, the destination of the summer camp, from a historical and cultural perspective. Zhang emphasized that the summer camp is not only a rare opportunity for cultural exchange but also a practical platform to improve Chinese language skills. He encouraged the students to make the most of this experience to enhance their proficiency in Chinese and immerse themselves in Chinese culture. 

The Nepalese team leader and student representatives expressed their sincere gratitude to the Confucius Institute for organizing the summer camp and pledged to cherish this valuable learning opportunity, striving to become cultural ambassadors for China-Nepal friendship. 

In his speech, Bal Ram Duwal, the Local director of the Confucius Institute at Tribhuvan University, highlighted that the summer camp is an important part of the institute’s Chinese language teaching and cultural exchange efforts. He particularly stressed, " During your visit to China, you represent not only yourselves but also bear the important mission of showcasing the positive image of Nepalese youth." Bal Ram Duwal outlined specific requirements for the participants, including punctuality and respect for cultural differences, and encouraged them to maintain their enthusiasm for learning Chinese. He urged them to transform the gains from this trip into lasting motivation for promoting China-Nepal friendship. 

This Nepali youth GanPo cultural experience summer camp will serve as another bridge for cultural exchange between China and Nepal. May the Nepalese youth gain knowledge, friendship, and personal growth amidst the beautiful landscapes of Jiangxi!
