Delegation from Xizang Association for Cultural Exchange with Foreign Countries and Xizang Daily Visits Confucius Institute at Tribhuvan University

On the afternoon of January 3, 2025, Mr. Sheng Naipeng, Council Member of the Xizang Association for Cultural Exchange with Foreign Countries, and Mr. Zhaba Wangqing from Xizang Daily visited the Confucius Institute at Tribhuvan University (CI@TU) for an exchange. They were warmly received by Dr. Bal Ram Duwal, the Nepalside acting Director of CI@TU, and Ms. Wang Lisha, a Chinese faculty member. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions about potential collaboration.

Dr. Duwal warmly welcomed Mr. Sheng Naipeng and Mr. Zhaba Wangqing upon their arrival. In his remarks, he highlighted that Tribhuvan University is one of the largest universities in the world, with nearly 50,000 graduates annually. As a central platform for education and cultural exchange in Nepal, Tribhuvan University maintains long-standing and friendly partnerships with several universities in China. He emphasized that the Confucius Institute, benefiting from its affiliation with Tribhuvan University, is committed to creating more opportunities for its students to engage in exchanges in China.Following this, Ms. Wang Lisha, provided an overview of the development history and current operations of CI@TU. She also shared the institute's achievements in Chinese language education and cultural activities. 

Mr. Sheng Naipeng highly recognized the Confucius Institute's contributions to promoting Sino-Nepalese educational and cultural exchanges. He noted that both sides could further explore specific areas for cooperation. On behalf of the Xizang Association for Cultural Exchange with Foreign Countries, Mr. Sheng presented books such as the “Encyclopedia of Xizang Medical Knowledge” to the Confucius Institute, hoping this gesture would serve as an opportunity to enhance cultural and health knowledge exchanges between the two regions. He also stated that there would be more room for future collaboration in areas such as cultural promotion and personnel exchanges.

This visit enhanced mutual understanding and trust, marking a new starting point for cooperation and laying a solid foundation for future collaboration.

西藏对外文化交流协会及西藏日报代表团来访孔院

2025年1月3日下午，西藏对外文化交流协会理事盛乃鹏、西藏日报扎巴旺青一行来到特里布文大学孔子学院（CI@TU）进行访问交流。孔院尼方院长博乐及中方教师王莉沙热情接待了来访嘉宾，双方围绕未来合作展开了深入探讨。

博乐首先对盛乃鹏理事和扎巴旺青的到来表示热烈欢迎。他在介绍中特别提到，特里布文大学是全世界最大的大学之一，每年有近五万毕业生，是尼泊尔教育与文化交流的核心平台，特里布文大学与中国多所大学保持着长期友好的合作关系，他表示，孔子学院依托特里布文大学，将为更多孔院学生创造赴华交流的机会。中方教师王莉沙随后介绍了特大孔院的发展历史及当前的运营情况，并分享了孔院在中文教学和文化活动方面取得的成果。

盛乃鹏理事对孔院在促进中尼教育、文化交流方面的贡献表示高度认可，并指出双方可以进一步探讨具体的合作领域。他还代表西藏对外文化交流协会向孔院赠送了《藏医健康知识百科》等书籍，期待以此为契机增进两地的文化与健康知识交流。他表示，未来双方在文化推广、人员交流等方面将有更多合作空间。

此次访问增进了双方的理解与信任，标志着双方合作的崭新起点, 为未来的合作奠定了坚实的基础。
