CI@TU is dedicated to building bridges of understanding and collaboration between Nepal and China through language, education, and culture. Our mission is to cultivate an environment where Nepalese learners and professionals can access high-quality Chinese language education, deepen their understanding of Chinese culture, and explore opportunities for academic and professional growth. We aim to promote mutual respect and cultural diplomacy while contributing to Nepal’s socio-economic development.

Since its establishment, CI@TU has emerged as a hub for cultural and linguistic exchange. Key initiatives include:

1. Educational Excellence: Offering flexible Chinese language courses for students, professionals, and government employees, including establishing a Chinese Testing Center to facilitate HSK exams.

2. Cultural Exchange: Hosting events such as calligraphy exhibitions, cultural performances, and cultural seminars, showcasing the richness of Sino-Nepalese relations.

3. Collaboration with Institutions: Expanding teaching points to government departments and local organizations to integrate Chinese language education into various sectors.

4. Student and Faculty Exchanges: Facilitating immersive experiences for students and educators in China, enhancing their cultural and linguistic expertise.

While CI@TU has made remarkable progress, every growth journey faces its set of challenges. Among these, the need to expand teaching sites across the country and integrate credit-based language courses into academic programs stands out.

CI@TU strives to be a beacon of cultural and educational excellence. Through collaboration, innovation, and dedication, we aim to further solidify the bond between Nepal and China, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth.
